At Americollect, we have always been Ridiculously Nice when it comes to early out services and bad debt collections, so when we were acquired by GetixHealth it opened our clients to a whole new world of Ridiculously Nice services, including Eligibility and Enrollment Services.
Who is GetixHealth?
GetixHealth is a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions for healthcare providers, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions. Their capabilities are supported by robust technology tools, healthcare RCM subject matter expertise and three decades of experience.
Eligibility and Enrollment Services
For more than 30 years, GetixHealth has been helping hospitals with eligibility and enrollment services by identifying and applying for state and federal assistance programs in all 50 states. Bedside screenings allow our specialists to walk patients step-by-step through the process with rapid referral follow-ups, allowing them to be there from first contact to final resolution. Eligibility and enrollment services with GetixHealth removes the stress and confusion around paying for care, ensuring patients quickly access the programs they qualify for.
Services that fall under Eligibility and Enrollment Services include:
- In State & Out of State Medicaid Eligibility
- SSI/SSDI Eligibility
- Day One Inpatient
- Day One & Post Discharge Outpatient and Emergency Room
- Medicaid Eligibility Verification
- Retro Eligibility
- Financial Assistance Applications
Eligibility Identification
Identifying patients that qualify for these programs is done using GetixHealth’s customized workflow system, Artiva HCX, which has been tailored specifically to EPALS. It allows us to identify, screen, and qualify patients using tools modelled to your preferred practices.
Patient Screening
The GetixHealth screening tools include income and eligibility criterion, as well as comprehensive internal assessment questionnaires and guidelines. Because this process is so intimate for each patient, our staff are trained to build rapport with each patient while educating them to their role in the process, as well as ours, and the next steps to be taken. They use their investigative skills and ask open ended questions to ensure all information is properly covered.
When our staff is unable to screen patients for any reason, they continue their rescreening attempts while partnering with your case management team. They use a variety of tools to locate and gain the cooperation of patients to make sure we don’t miss patient eligibility.
