Our IVR system allows those patients that want to make a payment via telephone to accomplish their goal quickly and easily, at any time of day at their own convenience. Americollect’s IVR system keeps our Ridiculously Nice Revenue Cycle Teammates available for those patients that need a little extra assistance with their medical bill.
IVR System Statistics
The Americollect IVR system is going strong, adding another element to our bag of tools. Just in April 2023, the IVR system was able to handle over 4,000 calls. Some of the statistics include:
- Calls Handled by IVR – 4,210
- Number of IVR Payments – 1,177
- Dollar amount of payments – $245,385.24
- Number of Payers with no contact in the last 3 months – 682
We have collected $245,385.24 from our IVR system!
Nearly 700 patients made payments on their accounts without needing us to help remind them, which is an important statistic. This allows our Revenue Cycle Teammates to focus on the accounts that need attention while you are still receiving revenue!
