Americollect’s Ridiculously Nice Approach Has Earned Us a Brand-New Seal

Americollect, a leader in treating patients Ridiculously Nice, has added another way to proudly show their commitment to helping patients with medical debt. Americollect has signed the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) Patient Financial Advocate Pledge and received the Seal. This action shows our commitment to helping patients navigate insurance complexity through education.

When AAHAM created the National Financial Advocate Task Force in March of 2020, they created the Pledge and Seal. This pledge embodies the standards and principles that AAHAM feels early out and third-party collection agency members should personify when contacting patients regarding out-of-pocket healthcare costs.

Americollect President, Shawn Gretz, is a member of the Task Force that created the N.I.C.E. (Navigating Insurance Complexity Education) promise for patient experience, which is an integral part of the Pledge. Gretz said that the Pledge is important because Patient Financial Advocates help answer questions patients have about their insurance and costs of their care. Without this access, patients will find themselves struggling even more to understand the statements that they receive after care.  It truly shows Americollect’s passion for working with patients.

“The Patient Financial Advocate Pledge and Seal is the embodiment of everything our Ridiculously Nice philosophy stands for at Americollect,” said Gretz. “The Task Force is the perfect way to show everyone in the healthcare collections field that the best way to create positive outcomes is to work with the patient on their path to financial success.”

Americollect firmly believes that everyone deserves to be treated Ridiculously Nice, all the time, no matter what. Collecting only for the healthcare industry, we utilize our Ridiculously Nice approach to open communication lines and build trust with the patient, providing the same compassionate approach that they expect from their healthcare organizations.
