Primary responsibility ensures the processes within the company are at the highest quality, meeting performance standards, and customer satisfaction. Maintains and supports company policies and procedures while supporting team members positively. Uses knowledge of HR concepts, principles, and practices related to retirement, insurance, injury compensation, leaves of absence, and other employee benefits programs to serve as a resource to others.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze healthcare plans including medical, dental, vision and disability insurance
  • 401K retirement management
  • Assist in designing a comprehensive benefit package to meet the needs of a changing workforce. This includes select benefits vendors and manage enrollment, renewal and delivery of benefit to employees
  • Maintain benefit e-mail incoming and outgoing
  • COBRA or Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act
  • Affordable Care Act reporting to the Internal Revenue Service
  • Develops and disseminates policy and guidance regarding the organization’s flexible work schedule options
  • Leave of Absence Administration, including short term disability, and family medical leave act including HRIS system implementation
  • Facilitates Health Risk Assessments including meeting and eligibility
  • Work with EAP and wellness committees to help promote a healthy work environment
  • Complies with EEOC regulations and the Americans with Disabilities Act

Project Management:

  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement s in efficiency of the department and services performed
