Primary responsibility is monitoring and supporting the operation of the computer network including hardware, software, hosted and on premise servers, modems, firewalls.  Supports and maintains equipment within the company.

  • Maintain 99.9% uptime of critical systems as defined by the company
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all passwords, network diagrams, licenses, and warranty contracts for all systems
  • Work with application team to size physical and virtual solutions to support their initiatives
  • Conduct ‘state of the network’ briefings to senior leadership to drive strategic goals from a technology stand point.
  • Strive to achieve 80% of time working on the advancement of network initiatives and 20% of time in support and troubleshooting
  • Implement and maintain a documented project process that includes budget, stakeholder, and cost projections for all projects over $2,500 in combined hardware and labor.
  • Remain current on technology trends through professional associations, webinars, and symposiums
  • Responsible for creating and implementing a Cyber Security policy that addresses both external and internal threats to the security of the organization.
  • Responsible for meeting customer compliance requirements as directed by the business, including SOC2.
  • Responsible for creating a Disaster Recovery Plan that includes periodic testing and reporting of results to senior leadership.
  • Responsible for creating and maintain IT Policy and Procedure documentation in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Maintain a project schedule and achieve an 80% accuracy rate for both budget and delivery projections.
  • Lead the IT steering committee initiative to promote IT engagement and visibility within the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Education or Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in related Information Technology field – Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years working in IT Management role.
  • Service industry ( call center ) experience preferred

IT Technology/Equipment Knowledege:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Telecommunications design experience specifically voice circuit design and failover
  • Scripting (e.g. Powershell, Batch files, Linux scripting)
  • Hardware devices such as servers, desktop, LCD’s, printers, laptops.
  • Microsoft products such as SQL, Exchange, Windows (Server versions), Office.
  • Virtualization Technologies (VMware)
  • Information security best practices
  • Storage Platforms (Netapp)

Working Environment

This is an office/call center environment with a moderate noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently sitting for long periods of time and typing, entering data and reading on a computer.
