Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, this position develops, organizes and assigns new and ongoing employee training for all departments within the company, including both onsite and work from home employees.  This position also oversees the training facilitators and ensures successful learning and development of employees in training.

Expectations:

  • Oversee training facilitators and assist in their professional growth and development.
  • Partners with all internal departments to evaluate individual and organizational development and training needs.
  • Analyze current training resources and ensure all process/guidelines are effective and up to date.  Search for gaps in training material or content that should be filled.
  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs for all employees. Training includes: classroom, video, virtual and role playing.
  • Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs
  • Design and deliver e-learning training within a Learning Management System.
  • Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrollment.
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments

Preferred Qualifications:

Education or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years adult training and curriculum development experience in a business/professional setting preferred
  • Previous leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Professional training certifications helpful

IT Technology/Equipment Knowledge:

  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems platforms and practices
  • Ability to effectively lead adult learning sessions using a variety of delivery methods
  • Ability to engage audience and encourage participation
  • Ability to create a safe learning environment supporting productive discussions in a confidential atmosphere
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities
  • Ability to interpret data and feedback to propose solutions to organizational needs

Working Environment

This is an office/call center environment with a moderate noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently sitting for long periods of time and typing, entering data and reading on a computer.
